Welcome to Chiba Prefecture
Chiba Prefecture borders Tokyo to the east and has Narita Airport, which welcomes more than 15 million foreign tourists annually. Narita Airport is a world-famous Japanese airport, but it's a shame that most people arriving from overseas end up traveling to Tokyo right away. Chiba Prefecture is surrounded by rich nature and beautiful seas, and offers a variety of experiences.
In addition, there are many historical sights in the prefecture where you can feel Japanese culture and traditions first-hand. Although it is as crowded as Tokyo, you can relax and enjoy historical buildings such as temples and museums. Blessed with the sea and a warm climate, Chiba also offers dishes packed with agricultural and livestock products and fresh seafood.
If you're reading this pamphlet, I hope you'll have a wonderful time coming into contact with Chiba Prefecture's nature and Japanese culture and traditions!
